Sensory Rooms
Burgess Hill District Lions received a request from the Windmills Opportunity Playgroup who meets at Sheddingdean Community Centre, Maple Drive, Burgess Hill explaining how they were trying to raise money to build a sensory room. This request was discussed in detail by the club and after the Christmas Collections, a thousand pounds was donated towards the project. Lion President John Gee paid a visit on 5th November to see the room in action.
Burgess Hill District Lions have assisted several other organisations with the building of sensory rooms, too.
